Crittenden Named ACC Performer of the Week

After posting the second-fastest time in the nation in the 110-meter hurdles at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational this weekend, junior Freddie Crittenden III has been named ACC Men's Track Performer of the Week.
Crittenden, the NCAA runner up and ACC Champion in the 60-meter hurdles this indoor season, won in his second outdoor event of the season on Saturday. He posted a time of 13.53 seconds, which is second to only Devon Allen of Oregon nationally.
He won the 110-meter hurdles by a wide margin this weekend, finishing in 13.53, a full 0.2 seconds ahead of the rest of the field, leading Richard Floyd, Chevis Armstead and David Gilstrap who all finished in the top-17 of the event for the Orange as well.
His time, which was a personal best by 0.07 seconds, sits 0.01 seconds ahead of Isaiah Moore of South Carolina for the top time amongst those who can qualify for the NCAA East Regional.
Crittenden and the Orange have this weekend off before heading to either the Virginia Challenge or Auburn War Eagle Invitational on April 22.
