Syracuse looks to capture the Goes Trophy for the first time since 2011
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 13 Syracuse University men's rowing team opened its season with a victory in the first varsity eight competition against then-No. 12 Wisconsin on April 9. Syracuse will look to continue its winning ways when it takes on No. 8 Cornell and No. 11 Navy with the Goes Trophy on the line on Saturday morning in Annapolis, Md.
Cuse TV caught up with seniors James Schiera and Aleks Staprans following practice on Thursday morning. The two spoke about the victorious race against the Badgers and previewed the upcoming weekend.
