Orange looking for second-straight ACC Championship and fourth conference title in five seasons

THE GAME
- The eighth-ranked Orange takes on No. 13 Duke in the ACC Championship game.
-Â The game will be televised on ESPNU with Eamon McEaney (pxp), Quint Kessenich (analyst) and Paul Carcaterra (analyst) on the call. It's also available on ESPN3. TK99 will broadcast the game as the official radio home of the Orange, with Brian Higgins (pxp) and Kyle Fetterly (color) calling the action. WAER will also be carrying the game with Michael Tricarico and Marco Socci broadcasting
-Â Syracuse enters the game 9-4 after defeating North Carolina 10-7 in the ACC Semifinal.
THE DUKE SERIESÂ
- The Orange and Blue Devils will meet for the 16th time on Sunday, in the second-straight ACC title game matchup between the teams.
-Â The Orange rallied from an early deficit to defeat Duke 15-14 in last year's ACC title game.
-Â Duke previously beat the Orange 16-15 in overtime this season after coming from behind in the fourth quarter to force overtime.
ORANGE IN THE ACC CHAMPIONSHIPÂ
- The Orange enter their third-straight ACC title game in the three seasons they've been in the league.
-Â Last year's third-seeded Syracuse team defeated the two-seed, North Carolina, in the semifinals, 9-8, before taking down fourth-seeded Duke in the finals by a score of 15-14.
-Â Syracuse and head coach John Desko is 8-1 in conference tournament play all time, having won three of a possible four tournament championships, two BIG EAST (2012, 2013) and one ACC (2015).
DONAHUE NAMED TEWAARATON NOMINEEÂ
-Â Dylan Donahue was named 1-of-25 Tewaaraton Award nominees on Friday.
-Â He joins elite company, as Syracuse has won the award three times, with Mike Powell taking home the trophy in 2002 and 2004 and Mike Leveille winning it in 2008. Jim Brown also won the Tewaaraton Legends award in 2011.Â
-Â Donahue could be the 13th Orange player to be named a finalist if he is selected on May 12. Kevin Rice was Syracuse's most recent finalist in 2015
TEN BELOWÂ
- Syracuse has won 38-straight games when holding opponents to under 10 goals in a game.
- In 2016, the Orange has held Siena (5), Albany (7), Army (8), St. John's (4), Hobart (6), North Carolina twice (7) and Binghamton (5) to that mark.
-Â The last time Syracuse failed to win when keeping its foe to single digits was on April 28, 2012 at Notre Dame. The Irish beat the Orange that day, 8-6.
WILLIAMS AMONG NATIONAL LEADERSÂ
- Ben Williams ranks inside the top-10 of two national stat categories. He is 5th in FO winning pct. (.642) and 8th in groundballs per game (6.75).
-Â Dylan Donahue also ranks inside the top-10 of a national stat category, ranking 8th in assists per game with 2.25.
A BALANCED ATTACK
- The Orange offense features six players with double-figure goals and 18 players with at least one.
-Â Last year, seven members of the Orange eclipsed the 10-goal mark, and 19 found the back of the net.
-Â Syracuse also has 16 players with at least one assist, one off from the mark of 17 that was reached last season.
-Â Of the four other teams in the ACC, only Virginia and Duke have as many double-digit goal-scorers as SU.
MULLINS RISING IN THE RECORDSÂ
-Â With his caused turnover against Cornell, redshirtsenior Brandon Mullins became the fourth defender in Orange history to reach the 60-caused turnover plateau in his career.
-Â Mullins moved into second all time past Matt Harris with his four caused turnovers in the ACC Semifinal.
-Â Only Brian Megill (103) has more than Mullins' 71 in their Syracuse careers.
