Syracuse invited to the annual national championship regatta
PRINCETON, N.J. – The field for the 2016 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta is set, USRowing announced on Tuesday afternoon. The Syracuse University men's rowing team earned a bid to the annual national championship regatta.
Syracuse will send three crews to the IRA Championship Regatta; the first, second, and third varsity eight boats. The Orange finished in 10th place in every race they competed in at the Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges (EARC) Men's Sprints.
Racing begins on Friday, June 3 in West Windsor, N.J. The regatta will run until Sunday, June 5 with the final races.
