'Cuse, Badgers Paired In ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Syracuse and Wisconsin will square off in one of 14 contests which make up the 2016 ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Orange are scheduled to play at Wisconsin on Tuesday, November 29.Â
The two teams also met in the 2015 event with the Badgers emerging with a 66-58, overtime victory.
ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU will combine to televise each of the matchups and the games will be available via WatchESPN.Â
The Syracuse series with Wisconsin is tied, 2-2. The Orange lost the first encounter, in the 1926-27 season, before claiming wins in 1999-2000 Â and 2011-12. The Badgers evened things with the triumph from a season ago.
The field includes 14 teams who earned berths in the 2015NCAA Men's Basketball Championship:
The two conferences compete for the Commissioner's Cup, won the past two years by the Big Ten. The ACC had claimed the first 10 Challenges (1999-2008), the Big Ten then claimed three (2009-2011) and the league's split the results in 2012 and 2013. The ACC leads the all-time series, 10-5-2.
