Treanor Leads Team to Victory in UWLX Debut

Former Orange Kayla Treanor '16 made her United Women's Lacrosse League (UWLX) debut a memorable one when she scored the game-winning goal with 41 seconds left to give the Boston Storm a 17-16 victory against the Baltimore Ride last weekend. Treanor finished with five goals and two assists and now leads the league in scoring.
Fellow 2016 graduates Erica Bodt and Halle Majorana also made their first appearances in the UWLX. Bodt is a member of the Ride, while Majorana plays for the Long Island Sound. Majorana and her teammates defeated the Philadelphia Force, 14-8. Alyssa Murray '14 had a hat trick for Philadelphia.
Action continues on Saturday, June 18 with a pair of games in the Philadelphia area. The Force hosts Baltimore at St. Joesph's University, while Long Island takes on Boston at the Decou Sports Complex in Cherry Hill, N.J. as part of the National Draw Tournament.
