Knight Takes Silver at Canadian National Championships

Justyn Knight claimed silver in the 1500-meters at the Canadian National Championship and Jarret Eaton took sixth in the 110-meter hurdles at the U.S. Olympic Trials to highlight Saturday's action.
Knight finished the race in 3:56.00, edged out by 0.25 seconds by Charles Philibert-Thiboutot at the line for gold. Adam Palamar would take 12 after also qualifying for the final.
In the U.S. trials, both Eaton and Freddie Crittenden III raced in the 110-meter hurdles semifinals, with Eaton moving through to the finals automatically in 13.57 seconds and Crittenden finishing 15th in 13.87 seconds.
In the final, Eaton shaved more time off his mark, crossing the line in 13.30, which was just 0.09 seconds off the third place finisher's time which would have qualified him for the Olympics.
In the 100-meter dash, Michael LeBlanc finished 11th in the semifinals racing to a time of 10.38 seconds. The top-eight advanced to Sunday's final.
Jillian Drouin took bronze in the high jump, clearing 1.81 meters. She also finished 10th in the shot put, throwing 12.31 meters.
