SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 6/8 Syracuse puts its three-match winning streak on the line when it hosts St. John's on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. Admission to the SU Soccer Stadium is free of charge.

SCOUTING THE ORANGE
The Orange remained perfect this season with a 3-0 win against Colgate on Thursday. Senior Chris Nanco scored two goals for his second multiple-goal game of his career. Freshman Johannes Pieles had an assist against the Raiders and has at least one point in every game this season. Nanco and Pieles are tied for the team in points with six points apiece.

SCOUTING THE RED STORM
St. John's recorded its first victory of the season in a 2-0 win against St. Peter's on Wednesday night. The Red Storm enter Sunday's match with a 1-0-1 record. Goalkeepers Michael Bernardi and Andrew Withers have not allowed a goal this season. The two have combined for two shutouts to start the 2016 campaign.

THE SERIES
Syracuse and St. John's will meet for the 34th time on Sunday. The Red Storm hold a 19-8-6 advantage in the series. Sunday's match marks the first time the teams will meet on the pitch since 2014. The teams played every year from 1982-03 and again from 2005-12 while both were members of The BIG EAST Conference. The Orange defeated the Red Storm, 1-0, on Chris Nanco's (Brampton, Ontario) goal in the seventh minute on Sept. 6, 2014 in Queens
