Palamar Named ACC Performer of the Week
1/31/2017 3:49:00 PM | Track and Field
Following turning in the nation's best mile time to date (3:57.39) in the ever competitive John Thomas Invitational, Adam Palamar earned ACC Indoor Track Performer of the Week.
Palamar, one of four members of the Orange to have broken the four-minute mile mark in program history, is one of just eight under the milestone so far this season nationally. That list includes teammate Justyn Knight, who won the UW Invitational Mile as well.
The Ottawa, Ontario native, Palamar's time was a personal best.
Syracuse will return to the same track Palamar ran his mile on this week at the BU Scarlet and White Invitational, while other members of the Orange take on the Harvard Crimson Elite this weekend.
