'Cuse at the NCAA Tournament
- This is the 10th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance for the Orange and 13th in program history.
- All-time the Orange is 17-11 in NCAA Tournament play and has advanced to at least the quarterfinal round in each of the last-three seasons.
- Syracuse is 2-0 at Ocker Field all-time in NCAA Tournament play, winning the 2015 NCAA title game there.
- The Orange also boasts a 10-2 record in NCAA Tournament first round matchups, winning their first round matchup in every season besides 1995 and 2013.
- 11 current members of the Orange have played in NCAA Tournament action, led by Lies Lagerweij and Laura Hurff with 10 starts each in tournament play. Erin Gillingham (9) and Roos Weers (6) have seen the next most time.
- Lagerweij (2-1) and Weers (1-3) lead all scorers with five points apiece in NCAA Tournament action. Emma Tufts and Erin Gillingham also have recorded a goal each, while Hurff has contributed an assist.

- Syracuse has earned one of the nation's top-four seeds in the NCAA Tournament the previous four seasons, so this will be the first road trip since 2012 for the Orange. The team reached the NCAA Semifinals that season.

Coach Bradley in the Tournament
- When Syracuse takes the field on Saturday, head coach Ange Bradley will move to ninth all-time in games coached in the NCAA Tournament (29), including her time at Richmond.
- Bradley's 15 NCAA Tournament victories currently rank ninth all-time, in a tie with Beth Beglin at Iowa, who Bradley coached under early in her career. Current UVA coach Michele Madison is eighth on the list with 16 wins, with Bradley having the potential to catch her depending on this weekend's results.
- Among active coaches, Bradley is eighth in wins and ninth in games coached.

'Cuse vs. Michigan
- This is Syracuse and No. 3 Michigan's first matchup since 2009, with the all-time series knotted at two wins apiece.
- In their last game, Syracuse took home the win, 2-1 in overtime. That game was played at Trager Field in Louisville as part of a weekend series.
- The 2009 matchup is head coach Ange Bradley's only time facing the Wolverines with the Orange, so she is 1-0.
- 'Cuse is 3-1 all-time at Ocker field, with a 1-1 record in games played there vs. Michigan and a 2-0 record vs. others from the 2015 NCAA Final Four that was played there.
