SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse returns to the Carrier Dome Monday, Nov. 6 to close out its exhibition schedule against Southern Connecticut State. Opening tip is set for 7 p.m.

The Orange played its first exhibition game against Southern New Hampshire last Wednesday and picked up an 84-54 victory. Sophomore Tyus Battle totaled a game-high 20 points and freshman Oshae Brissett contributed 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Junior Frank Howard and freshman Howard Washington each tallied double-digit scoring on the night with 15 and 11 points, respectively. Freshman Bourama Sidibe finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and six blocks.

Southern Connecticut State, a Division II program, participates in the Northeast-10 conference. This will be the Owls' third season under head coach Scott Burrell. Last season, Southern Connecticut State posted an 18-13 record and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
