The Champions Return
-This year could mark the fifth consecutive season of the Syracuse men winning the NCAA Northeast Region title—their eighth title since 2009.
-The women's team placed eighth overall last year and are now seeking their first title since 2011.
-Head coach Chris Fox will enter his 11th championship this year having won seven titles from the men's team and three from the women's in his tenure.
- Justyn Knight is also the defending men's champion in two consecutive seasons, the Orange senior is seeking his third-straight NCAA Northeast Regional individual title

-The meet will be hosted in Amherst, NY at the Audobon Golf Course on Friday, November 10.
-The women's 6k race begins at 11 a.m. and is followed by the men's 10k race at 12 p.m.

-The Syracuse men enter the championships ranked No. 3 in the USTFCCA coaches' poll.
-This will be the fourth-season where the men have been ranked in the top-six of every regular season poll.

Stoner's Season Success
-Named ACC performer of the week after a stellar season debut, Stoner prepares to win her second individual title this Friday.
-Stoner became the first woman in Syracuse's program history to win an individual conference title at this year's ACC Championships.
-Last year, the Pottsville, Pennsylvania native led her team at the NCAA Regionals, placing 10th with a time of 20:43.50.

Defending Knight's Championship Title
-Last year, Knight ran a 30:30.52 over 10k and brought home an individual championship in addition to the men's team overall championship victory.
-Knight is seeking to win the NCAA Northeast Regional for his third-straight season not long after his recent ACC Championship victory. This will be the senior cross country star's last Regional championship. Â
-For the fourth time in his career, Knight has received honors as the national athlete of the week. This most recent honor came after winning the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational in his season debut.
Last Time Out
- This is the first meet since the Orange's dominant ACC Championship that saw the men's team capture a sixth-straight conference title, Knight win the men's championship and Stoner win the women's title.
- The men posted the lowest scoring margin in nearly 15 years and their point total of 27 points was lower than the score of the rest of the conference combined (28).
