Parker Earns National Player of the Week Honors

Parker Also Named ACC Offensive Player of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse senior Devon Parker has been named the Epoch/US Lacrosse Player of the Week after helping the Orange to wins against Northwestern and Virginia. In addition, she has been honored as the ACC Offensive Player of the Week.

Parker scored all of her career-high five goals in the second half to spark Syracuse's come-from behind 16-15 win against Virginia. The Orange trailed by as many as nine in the first half and were down 11-4 at halftime. After Syracuse scored the last two goals of the first half, Parker tallied the first goal after intermission and capped the Orange's 5-0 scoring run to cut the deficit to 11-7. Her final goal of the game tied the score at 15-15.

Earlier in the week, Parker scored two of Syracuse's first three goals in its 5-3 victory against Northwestern. She now has 11 goals this season, which is a career high.

Parker and the Orange begin a three-game road trip on Saturday, March 11 when they take on No. 1 Maryland at 1 p.m. in College Park.
