Orange Host Binghamton for Midweek Doubleheader

‘Cuse opens play at Skytop
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange (17-12, 3-6 ACC) begin a five-game home stand with a midweek doubleheader versus in-state foe Binghamton (9-14, 2-2 AEC) at Skytop Softball Stadium on Wednesday. The Bearcats travel to Syracuse for the afternoon matchups with a two-game winning streak on the line, while the Orange attempt to break a three-game losing run.
Both games of the non-conference doubleheader will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra. Live stats will be available as well. Links for both live productions are listed below. Admission to the home contests are free of charge.
Syracuse and Binghamton have a 21-game all-time series, as 'Cuse leads the way with an 18-3 record. However, the Bearcats claimed the most recent victory last May in a 2-1 decision.
Prior to last season's matchup, the pair faced off at Skytop in 2014, where 'Cuse claimed the double header sweep in 8-0 (5) and 9-6 final scores.
The Orange and the Bearcats played in Syracuse's inaugural season, where SU came away with a pair of home victories over BU. Binghamton beat the Orange in 2001, 2013 and 2016.
The Bearcats travel to Syracuse with a two-game win streak, as BU most recently defeated Maryland Baltimore County in a pair of games on Sunday, 11-5 and 10-3.
