Syracuse will open the season on Saturday, April 15
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 17 Syracuse men's rowing team's season-opening race against Wisconsin on Saturday morning has been cancelled due to travel issues.
Syracuse will now open its 2017 campaign on Saturday, April 15 against Cornell and Navy in Ithaca, N.Y. The Orange will compete against the Big Red and Midshipmen for the Goes Trophy.
The club is coming off its best showing at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championship Regatta since the 2012 season. Syracuse has been ranked in the top 20 of the coaches' in each of the past 90 rankings releases, as well.
