SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 8 Syracuse men's rowing team will compete in its annual conference championship, the 2017 Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges (EARC) Men's Sprints. Racing will begin at 8:10 a.m. on Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond in Worchester, Mass.

The first varsity eight crew earned the sixth seed for the EARC Men's Sprints, the best seeding among the Syracuse boats. The second and third varsity eight boats notched the 13th and 12th seeds, respectively. The Orange will also send out a fourth varsity eight crew, which earned the 10th seed.

Syracuse will take the water, starting at 8:10 a.m. on Sunday morning. In the first, second, and third varsity eight competitions, the top two finishers from the morning's heats will earn spots in the afternoon's grand finals.
