SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 7/13 Syracuse returns to conference play when it takes on No. 17/12 Louisville on Friday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. The match is the second of four straight at home for the Orange. Admission and parking at the SU Soccer Stadium are free.

ACC STANDINGS
After the first weekend of league play, Syracuse (4-0-2) is in third place in the ACC Atlantic Division with one point after its 1-1 tie at No. 11 Virginia. Louisville (3-1-1) lost its conference opener to Wake Forest, 3-1.

ORANGE USING BALANCED SCORING ATTACK
Junior Kamal Miller scored his first goal of the season against Oregon State. He became the eighth different player to score for Syracuse this season.

Junior Jonathan Hagman also scored a goal against Oregon State, giving him a team-high four through six games. No other player has more than two this season. The Orange are tied for third in the ACC in total goals.
SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
Louisville enters Friday's game with a 3-1-1 record. After winning their first three matches of the season, the Cardinals tied nationally-ranked Kentucky and lost to then No. 2 Wake Forest in their ACC opener.

Junior Adrien Cabon and senior Tim Kubel are Louisville's leading scorers. Both have two goals and one assist for five points. Redshirt freshman Jake Gelnovatch has played every minute in goal for Louisville. He has a 1.15 goals-against average and .500 save percentage this season.

THE SERIES
Louisville leads the all-time series with Syracuse, 8-2-2. Four of the 12 meetings have gone to overtime. The Orange's last victory against the Cardinals was a 3-2 win in overtime at the SU Soccer Stadium in 2008. The last time Louisville visited Syracuse, the teams played to a 1-1 draw in 2015.
