SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse Volleyball team travels to Hanover, N.H. to face Dartmouth, Sacred Heart and Iona at the Dartmouth Invitational on Sep. 8-9 at Leede Arena.

'Cuse will matchup against Dartmouth on the 8^th at 6:00 p.m. On the 9^th, the Orange will meet Sacred Heart at 10:30 a.m. and Iona at 4:30 p.m.

Coach's Thoughts:
"Our goal is to win," said head coach Leonid Yelin. "We are focusing on how we have to win, not just on the win itself. We are trying to be as perfect as possible."

'Cuse Leaders:
Ella Saada enters the weekend with a team-high 55 kills. Jalissa Trotter has a team-leading 124 assists, Belle Sand paces Syracuse with 90 digs and Santita Ebangwese has a team-high 28 blocks.

The Opponents:
Friday will be the third ever meeting between Syracuse and Dartmouth. The last time the schools faced off was at the 2012 University of Buffalo Blue and White Classic, where Syracuse walked away with a four-set victory. Dartmouth enters the weekend with a 1-2 record.

Syracuse holds a 2-0 series advantage over Sacred Heart. The last time these two squared off was in 2011, when Cuse surged past the Pioneers 3-0. Sacred Heart enters the weekend with a 3-4 mark.

The Orange meet Iona for the second time in program history. The only previous matchup took place in 1987 and Syracuse won the match in three sets. The Gaels enter the tournament with a 2-4 record, having competed in the Bucknell Tournament and the Dog Pound Invitational.

Of Note:
Ebangwese (.362) and Amber Witherspoon (.333) rank second and fifth, respectively, in the ACC for hitting percentage. Ebangwese also ranks eighth in the conference with 1.22 blocks per set and Sand ranks eighth with 3.91 digs per set.
