SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse women's soccer ends its final road trip of the season in Winston-Salem, N.C., Sunday, Oct. 21, when the Orange face Atlantic Coast Conference opponent Wake Forest at 1 p.m. inside Spry Stadium. The match will be televised on ACC Network Extra via WatchESPN.
LAST TIME OUT
The Orange fought mightily against one of the top teams in the nation but could not generate an offensive attack when needed, failing to score at least one goal for the first time in three matches in a 4-0 setback against No. 6 Virginia Thursday.
DEFENSE GIVING OFFENSE A CHANCE
Syracuse has trailed by just one goal past the 69th minute in four of its last six matches.
The Orange conceded only one goal in both losses against Louisville and Miami. In their 5-1 and 4-0 losses against Notre Dame and No. 6 Virginia, Syracuse trailed by one goal until the 78th and 70th minute, respectively.Â
