SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse returns to the Carrier Dome to renew one of its oldest series on Wednesday, Nov. 21 against Colgate. The game marks the 171st meeting between the two Central New York foes. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.

Fans who can't make it to the Dome can watch the game on ACC Network Extra or listen to the live broadcast on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse looks to return to its winning ways after two setbacks at Madison Square Garden last weekend in the 2K Empire Classic. Freshman Jalen Carey made his first career start against Connecticut and responded with a season-high 26 points. He followed that performance by posting 14 points against Oregon. He was honored as ACC Co-Rookie of the Week for his performance.

Senior Tyus Battle also recorded double digit scoring in both games in New York. He leads Syracuse in scoring, averaging 16.0 points per game. He now has 1,161 career points, which rank 49th on the Orange's all-time scoring list.

SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
Colgate defeated Binghamton on Monday, 76-68, to improve its record to 4-1. After opening the season with an overtime loss to NJIT, the Raiders have won four straight, including wins against Monmouth and Cornell.

Junior Rapolas Ivanauskas leads the way for Colgate. He is averaging a double-double through five games, averaging 18.8 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. In addition, sophomore Jordan Burns has dished out a team-high 24 assists.

Matt Langel is in his eighth season at the helm of the Colgate program. The 2018 Patriot League Coach of the Year guided the Raiders to a program-record 19 wins last season and their first national postseason appearance (CBI) since 1996.

THE SERIES
The Syracuse-Colgate series dates back to 1902 when the Orange defeated the Raiders, 33-8. The teams have met 170 times with Syracuse claiming a victory in 125 of those contests. Colgate's last win in the series was a 67-63 victory in 1962.

Last season, Tyus Battle scored 24 points and Oshae Brissett added 20 points to lead the Orange to a 72-58 win against the Raiders in the Carrier Dome.

ON THE ORANGE HORIZON
Syracuse has a week off before traveling to Columbus, Ohio to face Ohio State on Wednesday, Nov. 28 as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
