SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- After taking a week off for final exams, Syracuse is back on the court Saturday, Dec. 15 against Old Dominion. The game tips off at noon in the Carrier Dome.

The game will be televised on RSN (affiliates, YES Network in New York State) and on the Watch ESPN & Fox Sports Go app. Fans can also listen to the live broadcast on the Syracuse IMG Radio Network.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse enters Saturday's game on a five-game winning streak, improving its record to 7-2. The Orange are tied for No. 25 in this week's Associated Press rankings. Syracuse is coming off a thrilling 72-71 victory against longtime rival Georgetown in the Carrier Dome last Saturday. Tyus Battle's field goal with less than three seconds remaining gave the Orange the victory. He tied his season high with 26 points, 21 of which came in the second half. Battle leads the team and ranks fourth in the ACC in scoring, averaging 18.0 points per game.

Redshirt sophomore Elijah Hughes added 15 points against Hoyas. He has scored in double figures in seven of nine games this season. Hughes leads the team with 20 3-pointers and ranks third on the squad in scoring (14.2 ppg.).

SCOUTING THE MONARCHS
Old Dominion also brings a five-game winning streak into Saturday's game. The Monarchs defeated Fairfield, 79-69, last Sunday to improve their record to 7-3.

Senior Ahmad Caver and redshirt senior B.J. Stith lead Old Dominion. Caver is averaging 18.5 points per game and has dished out a team-best 51 assists. Stith adds 18.0 points per game and is the Monarchs' leading rebounder (8.8 rpg.).

Jeff Jones is in his sixth season at the helm of the Old Dominion program and 27th as a head coach. Last season, Jones guided the Monarchs to a second-place finish in Conference USA and a 25-7 overall record.

THE SERIES
Saturday's game will be the fourth all-time meeting between Syracuse and Old Dominion and the first since the 1980-81 season. The Orange own a 2-1 advantage in the all-time series.

UP NEXT
Syracuse will play its fifth straight home game on Tuesday, Dec. 18 when it welcomes undefeated Buffalo to the Carrier Dome. The Bulls are ranked No. 14 in the Associated Press rankings and No. 15 in the Coaches Poll.
