SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse and NC State bring identical ACC records into their matchup on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. The Orange are in search of their third consecutive victory. For Starters
- Sophomore Tyus Battle scored 34 points to lead Syracuse (17-8, 6-6 ACC) past Wake Forest on Sunday. Freshman Oshae Brissett posted his ninth double-double of the year with 15 points and 10 rebounds and junior Frank Howard scored 12 points with nine assists.

- Battle, Brissett and Howard logged all 40 minutes of the win. Battle has went the distance in six straight contests.

- Junior Paschal Chukwu ranks second in the ACC and 14^th nationally with 2.7 blocks per game.

- The Orange hold a 7-3 all-time record against NC State. In last year's contest, Syracuse overcame a 16-point deficit and pulled out a 100-93 victory in OT.

Scouting the Wolfpack
- NC State enters the game with a 16-9 overall record and a 6-6 mark in ACC play. The Wolfpack have beaten four ranked opponents this year (Arizona, Duke, Clemson, North Carolina) but are currently on a two-game losing streak.

- Allerik Freeman leads NC State with 14.1 points per game and Omer Yurtseven scores 13.8 an outing and averages a team-high 6.9 rebounds. Markell Johnson has a team-leading 141 assists.

- Kevin Keatts is in his first season as head coach at NC State. Prior to leading the Wolfpack, Keatts coached three seasons at UNC-Wilmington and compiled a record of 72-28.
