Orange Host Eagles for Regular Season Finale Sunday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Abby Grant, Jasmine Nwajei and Marisa Romeo will wear their fresh white Syracuse uniforms for the final time inside the Carrier Dome on Sunday, Feb. 25. The Orange are set to host Boston College in the regular season finale and will recognize the 'Cuse trio with a brief Senior Day ceremony prior to the 2 pm tip on ACC Network Extra.

GAME PREVIEW
Syracuse (21-7, 9-6 in the Atlantic Coast Conference) enters Sunday on a four-game win streak. The Orange are 12-2 at home this season and are 2-1 against nationally ranked opponents inside the Carrier Dome. In their last home game, they defeated No. 17/16 Duke in thrilling fashion backed by a 19-point, 11 assist performance by Tiana Mangakahia. Following the win over the Blue Devils, 'Cuse earned a pair of ACC road wins over Pittsburgh and North Carolina.
In Thursday's win at North Carolina, the Orange broke a program and ACC record for 3-pointers in a game with 20. Gabrielle Cooper and Miranda Drummond paced the Orange with 26 and 24 points, respectively. Cooper matched her career-best eight treys shooting 8-for-10 from downtown while Drummond was nearly perfect at 7-for-8 from behind the arc.
Mangakahia had her 14th double-double of the season with 12 points and 14 assists moving even with Lindsay Allen atop the ACC single-season assist standings with 282 helpers this year.
Sunday will be the Orange's third game in a seven-day span.
Boston College (7-21, 2-13 in the league) enters Sunday on a three-game losing streak. In their last time out, the Eagles suffered a 67-39 loss to No. 9/12 Florida State on the road Thursday night. Each of the last of BC's last three opponents were ranked in the top-25. The Eagles have won just one road game this season, a 70-61 win at Holy Cross on December 6, 2017.
Three Eagles average double figures in scoring with Milan Bolden-Morris leading the team with 12.2 points per game. Georgia Pineau paces the squad with 7.2 rebounds per game and has a team-best 30 blocks.

Sunday afternoon marks the 51st meeting between the Orange and the Eagles. Syracuse holds a 27-23 lead in the all-time series and has won the last seven meetings between the two. When the two met earlier this season, 'Cuse earned a 75-57 win inside Conte Forum. Freshman Digna Strautmane had a career-high 25 points while sophomore guard Tiana Mangakahia added 19 points and nine assists.

Syracuse waits for its final seed in the ACC Tournament later this evening. The ACC Tournament returns to the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C., where the first round action begins Wednesday, Feb. 28, on RSN. The Semifinal games will be Saturday, March 3, on ESPNU and the championship game tips at 2 pm Sunday, March 4, on ESPN2.
