Orange Check in at #39 in Oracle/ITA Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – The Syracuse tennis team checks in at No. 39 in the Oracle/ITA Division I Women's Tennis Rankings, marking the second time in as many weeks that the Orange have earned a top-40 national ranking.
The Orange garnered their 10th win of the season Tuesday morning when they defeated Florida Atlantic University, 6-1. Syracuse tallied the doubles point before taking three straight singles matches, all two-set victories, to clinch the match. Sitting at 10-2 on the season with a 2-2 mark in conference play, the Orange have already surpassed their win mark (eight) from the previous season.
Junior Gabriela Knutson climbed to No. 11 in the last Singles Rankings, while the duo of Knutson and Miranda Ramirez stayed in the top-20 for doubles rankings, sitting at No. 17 in the nation.
Syracuse returns to Atlantic Coast Conference action on Friday, March 16 when the team hosts Clemson for an afternoon matchup. First serve is set for 1 p.m. and admission to all home matches at Drumlins Country Club is free.
