Eaton Takes Silver at World Championships

Syracuse alum, and 2018 U.S. Indoor Champion Jarret Eaton finished second at the IAAF World Championships, crossing the line in 7.47 seconds, 0.01 seconds out of gold medal position.
Eaton, the 2012 NCAA Indoor Champion at Syracuse, ran a time 0.04 seconds off his personal-best mark of 7.43 from earlier this year at the U.S. Indoor Championships. Andrew Pozzi of Britain won gold in 7.46 seconds.
Eaton finished fourth at the Iast AAF World Championships in 2016.
