Knight Wins Outdoor Debut

NCAA Champion Justyn Knight made his anticipated outdoor debut in strong fashion, leading a pair of teammates across the line with him to sweep the 1500-meters at the Bison Invitational at Bucknell.

Knight, Aidan Tooker and Philo Germano took the top-three spots in the 1500, cruising to easy wins, with Knight leading the pack to the win in 3:42.71. Tooker was close behind (3:43.84) and Germano took third in 3:45.31. Nathan Henderson also raced, finishing in 3:53.44

Noah Affolder picked up the win in the 3000-meter steeplechase, crossing the line in 8:51.44, six full seconds ahead of the competition.

Rachel Bonner finished 25th in the women's 1500-meter race, closing in 4:34.64. Kelsey Potts finished 52nd overall as well.
Emma Wilson also took on the 5k, finishing in 17:50.17.
Next, Syracuse will head to a pair of meets, taking on the Virginia Challenge and Larry Ellis Invitational next Friday.
