SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 27 Syracuse tennis team hits the road for its regular season finale, taking on 33rd-ranked North Carolina State on Sunday at 11 a.m. With a win over the Wolfpack, the Orange can tie the program record for wins in the regular season at 16, set in 2011 when Syracuse posted a 16-6 record prior to the Big East Tournament.

Last Time Out…
Syracuse split the weekend series, dropping a tough battle against No. 4 Duke, 4-2, on Friday. The Orange snagged the doubles point after Gabriela Knutson and Miranda defeated the eighth-ranked duo 6-2, and the third doubles pair of Anna Shkudun and Sofya Golubovskaya tallied a 6-2 win of their own.

'Cuse rebounded on Sunday for Senior Day, cruising to a quick 4-0 shutout victory, their third shutout win of the season. Fittingly, Shkudun, one of two seniors being honored, clinched the match for the Orange with a 7-5, 6-2 win at fourth singles.

Scouting the Wolfpack…
North Carolina State sits at 15-12 on the season with a 6-6 record in conference action. The Wolfpack are 4-1 in their last five games with the only loss coming to ACC foe Virginia. The doubles pair of Claudia Wiktorin and Anna Rogers check in at No. 25 in the Oracle/ITA Doubles Rankings, while Rogers and Adriana Reami each rank in the top-100 singles players in the nation.

Looking Ahead…
The Orange look to carry momentum into the ACC Tournament, which begins on Wednesday, April 25. If the Tournament were to begin today, Syracuse, as the seventh-seed, would receive a first-round bye and would square-off with the winner of the Boston College/Notre Dame dual.
