Syracuse Football Spring Preview Set for April 13

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Head coach Dino Babers and the Orange conclude spring practice Friday, April 13 in the Carrier Dome with the Syracuse Football Spring Preview presented by TK 99. The event features an Offense vs. Defense scrimmage, player autograph session, and the opportunity to purchase the best available seats to watch the team this fall.

Admission and parking for the event are free. Gates open at 5 p.m. with the scrimmage scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. For the scrimmage, fans are encouraged to cheer on the Orange from Sections 105 to 126 along the home-team sideline.

At the conclusion of the scrimmage, fans will be invited onto the field for autographs. Autograph cards and pens will be provided. In addition, Otto the Orange and members of the Syracuse cheerleading team will be available during that time for photos.

As soon as gates open, Syracuse's annual "Select-A-Seat" program will start and continue throughout the evening. During "Select-A-Seat," fans have the opportunity to walk the Dome and choose the best available seat locations for 2018 season tickets. A sampling of available seats will be marked in each section and members of the Carrier Dome Box Office staff will be on hand to assist with the selection process and answer any questions.

"Select-A-Seat" resumes Saturday, April 14 during the women's and men's lacrosse doubleheader versus North Carolina. The Orange women play the Tar Heels in the Carrier Dome at noon, followed by the men's game at 4 p.m. Admission for the women's lacrosse game is free.

The 2018 Syracuse football season gets underway Friday, Aug. 31 at Western Michigan. This year's schedule features six home dates, including Atlantic Coast Conference games against Florida State (Sept. 15), North Carolina (Oct. 20), NC State (Oct. 27) and Louisville (Nov. 9). The home opener versus Wagner is slated for Saturday, Sept. 8.

Season tickets are on sale now online (Cuse.com/tickets), by phone (888-DOMETIX) and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Tickets start at $125.

Syracuse returns 15 starters from last year's team, including quarterback Eric Dungey. Dungey is the only active FBS quarterback with 6,000 career passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards.
