No. 10 Orange Open the Season Saturday at Ten Eyck

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – No. 10 Syracuse will face off against No. 12 Wisconsin as both teams enter the water for the first time this season on Saturday, April 7, at James A. Ten Eyck Memorial Boathouse in Liverpool, N.Y. Action is set to begin at 8 am.

The Orange debuted at No. 10 in the US Rowing Coaches Poll and maintained their rank despite not competing through the first two weeks of the season. Wisconsin enters Saturday in a similar boat and has been ranked 12th since the first poll of the season.

Both teams finished in the top-10 at the IRA Championships last season with Syracuse earning an eighth-place finish and the Badgers finishing 11th overall.
This will be their first meeting since 2016. Last season's race was canceled.

Following Saturday's race against Wisconsin, the Orange return to Ten Eyck on Saturday, April 14, with hopes of claiming The Goes Trophy for the first time since 2011 when they host No. 11 Cornell and No. 18 Navy at 8 am.
