
Orange Alumna Hattie Taylor Selected to Great Britain World Cup Team

Syracuse, N.Y. – Syracuse University alumna Harriet Taylor has been selected to represent Great Britain at the first World Rowing Cup regatta of the 2018 season. Taylor was a four-year letter winner for the Orange women's rowing team from 2014-17.
Taylor is a member of the women's eight crew coached by James Harris and is one of 54 British athletes selected for the men's, women's and Paralympic squads.
The first regatta of the season will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, from June 1-3.
While at Syracuse, Taylor was a Division I Pocock CRCA All-America Second Team selection and was named CRCA All-Region First Team and All-Atlantic Coast Conference First Team. As a senior, she was a staple in the Orange's first varsity eight boat that won three ACC Crew of the Week honors and earned a bronze finish at the 2017 ACC Championships.
