One-of-four athletes to make each of the five watch lists for The Bowerman, Justyn Knight continues to be one of the leading names in the hunt for track and field's most prestigious award.
The NCAA Champion in the 5000-meters and silver medalist in the 3000-meters at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships last month, Knight has proven to be the nation's top distance runner and once again is the lone distance competitor on the list.

The Bowerman is awarded each year to the top male collegiate athlete and to the top female collegiate athlete in the sport of NCAA track & field.
Florida's Grant Holloway, New Mexico's Josh Kerr and Texas A&M's Ioannis Kyriazis are the lone for runners to make each of the five watch lists thus far.
USC's Rai Benjamin, Kansas' Gleb Dudarev, Houston's Elijah Hall, USC's Michael Norman and South Dakota's Chris Nilsen and UTEP's Michael Saruni make up the six other athletes on the 10-man watch list.
Majoring in social work at the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics, Knight enters the peak of his outdoor campaign looking for a third-straight season with an NCAA title after becoming the first Syracuse athlete to claim an individual cross country championship and winning the indoor 5000-meters as well.

After turning in one of the fastest performances in NCAA history in the 1500-meters earlier this year, Knight looks to best his own school record in the 5k on Thursday night at the Payton Jordan Invitational. He already sits fourth all-time on the NCAA list of the fastest 5000-meters.
Knight's race will kick off at 12:44 a.m. eastern time tonight.
