
Syracuse Cruises Past Cornell at Henley Royal Regatta

Henley-on-Thames, Eng.- Two schools separated by just over 51 miles in Central New York traveled 3,414 miles east to Henley-On-Thames, England, for the world-famous Henley Royal Regatta. By chance the two were paired up in the first round of the Temple Challenge Cup on Wednesday morning.

Syracuse earned the win by one length on the one mile and 550-yard (2,112-meter) course. The Orange advance in the head-to-head knock-out format and will compete at 7:05 BST (2:05 EST) against Trinity College Dublin on Thursday.
