Former Orange Named to US Fall Classic Roster

SPARKS, Md. – Four Syracuse All-Americans are among the 27 players named to the U.S. women's lacrosse roster for the Fall Classic on Oct. 6. Becca Block '13, Liz Hogan '11, Kayla Treanor '16 and Michelle Tumolo '13 will play for Team USA as it faces defending national champion James Madison at US Lacrosse Headquarters.

Block, Treanor and Tumolo helped the U.S. claim the World Cup in 2017. Treanor and Tumolo were named to the All-World Team. Treanor amassed 43 points on 24 goals and 19 assists – all team highs – in the tournament, which included a record-setting 12-point performance against England in pool play. Tumolo was the second-leading scorer with 29 points on 12 goals and 17 assists. Block helped anchor the U.S. defense that held all eight of its opponents to single digits. Hogan is a veteran of the U.S. program.
