Men’s Rowing has Strong Head of the Housatonic Debut

SHELTON, CONN – The Syracuse University's men's rowing team put three varsity eight crews in the top-15 at its Head of the Housatonic debut and first race of the fall season on Saturday.
The 'A' varsity eight finished behind Yale's top two crews and crossed the finish line in 12:54.7. The 'B' crew placed seventh and beat Brown's 2V and Northeastern 3V as well as a quartet of boats from Yale. The final Syracuse crew to cross the line was the 'C' varsity eight clocking a time of 13:40.2 and placing 14th overall.
Syracuse continues its fall season on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the internationally known Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Ma.
