SCOUTING THE ORANGE
Syracuse (7-4-4, 2-3-2 ACC) has won its last two matches and received nine votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll this week. The Orange shutout NC State on Senior Night last Saturday, 3-0. Senior Severin Soerlie scored first for the Orange on an assist from freshman Luther Archimede. In the second half, Syracuse extended its lead with a Ryan Raposo goal assisted by Hilli Goldhar. Amferny Sinclair recorded his first goal of the season and the final goal of the match in the 67th minute to seal the victory for the Orange. The 3-0 win marks the fifth shutout for the Orange defense and third in the last four matches.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Boston College suffered a 3-1 setback against Clemson last Friday. The loss brought the Eagles' record to 7-4-3, including 1-4-2 in ACC play.

Freshman Stefan Sigurdarson leads the Eagles' offense in points (14) and goals (6). Sigurdarson has double the points and double the goals as the next person on Boston College's roster. Another freshman, Michael Suski, leads the Eagles in assists with three. Sophomore Christian Garner and freshman Giacomo Piccardo have split time in goal for the Eagles. Combined they have a .775 save percentage and a 1.08 goals against average.

Friday's match marks the 32nd meeting between Syracuse and Boston College. The teams will meet in the regular-season finale for the second year in a row. The Eagles hold a 16-13-2 lead in the series, with last season's match at the SU Soccer Stadium ending in a 0-0 tie. The Orange outshot the Eagles, 24-9, but were unable to put one in the back of the net to win the game.
