NCAA Championship Berths on the Line Friday
11/14/2019 11:52:00 AM | Cross Country
A pair of NCAA Championship bids are on the line Friday in Buffalo for the Syracuse men's and women's cross country teams.
The Orange men are looking to continue their dominance as the top program in the Northeast Region for more than a decade and the 'Cuse women aim to capture an NCAA Championship automatic berth for the ninth time in the last dozen years.
Â
A seventh-straight regional title is up for grabs for the men, who have won nine of the last-10 NCAA regional races. A top-two team finish by either gender will give them an automatic berth to next week's NCAA Championship in Terre Haute, Indiana.

- The Women's 6k kicks off first at 11:00 a.m. and the men's 10k follows at 12:00 p.m. It's the first 10k of the year for the Orange.

Shannon Malone book ended the stretch with an individual championship win in last year's race.
