
#20 Syracuse Welcomes Albany to the Dome for Superhero Day

SYRACUSE, N.Y – The 20th-ranked Orange (2-0) welcome Albany (1-2) back to the Dome for the first time since 2016 Saturday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. for Superhero Day, where the first 200 kids 12 and under will receive a superhero mask and cape. Fans unable to attend can watch live online on ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), or via the WatchESPN App.
Syracuse is coming off a 65-50 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore on Tuesday night that was spearheaded by sophomore Emily Engstler's career night. Engstler recorded her first career double-double (15 points, 11 rebounds), while junior Digna Strautmane led the team in points (17) after firing up a career-high five 3-pointers. Senior Gabrielle Cooper also scored in the double-digits (11 points), and freshman Taleah Washington became the first freshman to score 10 points since Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi did it against Fordham on March 23, 2019.

The Albany Great Danes are 1-2 this season, most recently falling to Marist, 76-52. Syracuse and Albany have met four times in program history, with 'Cuse leading the series 4-0.

Syracuse season tickets start at $75 and are available for sale by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or at The Box Office at the Ensley Athletic Center, which will operate extended hours on Mondays, from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and will be open Tuesday through Friday, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, for purchasing tickets to all Dome events. Limited Premium Courtside seats are still available and can be purchased by contacting a sales representative at 1-888-DOME-TIX.
