
Orange Face No. 24 Michigan Thursday on ESPN

Ann Arbor, Mich.- Syracuse (4-3) looks to bounce back from back-to-back losses Thursday night on the road. The Orange are set to face No. 24 Michigan, their third top-25 opponent of the season, at 9 p.m. on ESPN as part of the Women's Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Syracuse 3-3 in the B1G/ACC Challenge since joining the league prior to the 2013 season.
Syracuse is led by point guard Kiara Lewis with 15.9 points and six assists per game while Emily Engstler averages a double double in points (10.9) and rebounds (11.3) with 10 blocks on the season. Digna Strautmane is averaging 10.0 points per game and Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi is shooting 51.3 percent from the field through seven games.
As a unit, 'Cuse is scoring 69.9 points per game and shooting 37.6 percent from the field. The Orange are out-rebounding opponents by 6.6 boards per game and forcing 14.3 turnovers per game.
Michigan returned to the Associated Press (AP) Top-25 this week after 2-0 last week. The Wolverines are 6-1 this season and are paced by Naz Hillmon with 15.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.
Thursday is the fifth meeting in program history between the two teams and first since the 2010 WNIT Tournament. Michigan leads the all-time series 4-0 and last beat the Orange 78-52 on March 28, 2010 in Ann Arbor.

Syracuse returns to the Carrier Dome Sunday, Dec. 8 for Doggy Day at the Dome when the Orange host UMBC at 2 p.m. It is the final home game of the non-conference season for 'Cuse.
Syracuse season tickets start at $75 and are available for sale by phone (1-888-DOMETIX) or at The Box Office at the Ensley Athletic Center, which will operate extended hours on Mondays, from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and will be open Tuesday through Friday, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, for purchasing tickets to all Dome events. Limited Premium Courtside seats are still available and can be purchased by contacting a sales representative at 1-888-DOME-TIX.
