RALEIGH, N.C. -- Syracuse's lone road game in a stretch of four out of five at home comes on Wednesday, Feb. 13 when the Orange travel to NC State. Opening tip is set for 8 p.m.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse got back in the win column on Saturday with a 67-56 victory against Boston College in the Carrier Dome. The Orange delivered a strong defensive performance against the Eagles as they recorded 12 steals and six blocks. Boston College missed its first 10 shots of the game, but rallied in the second half, getting within six at 60-54 at the 8:15 mark. Syracuse responded with a 7-2 scoring run and went on to the 11-point victory.

Junior Tyus Battle led the way for the Orange with 21 points, 15 of which came in the second half. Sophomore Oshae Brissett recorded his third consecutive double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Syracuse improved to 17-7 with the win. The Orange are currently tied for fourth place in the ACC standings with an 8-3 league record. Syracuse received two votes in this week's coaches poll.

SCOUTING THE WOLFPACK
NC State defeated Pittsburgh, 79-76, on Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak. All three losses came against teams ranked in the top 12. Like Syracuse, the Wolfpack enter Wednesday's game with a 17-7 overall record. NC State is 5-6 in conference action.

Torin Dorn leads the Wolfpack in points (13.6 ppg.) and rebounds (6.6 rpg.). He is one of three players who average double figures in scoring for the third-highest scoring offense in the ACC. That group also includes CJ Bryce (12.5 ppg.) and Markell Johnson (11.1 ppg.).

Kevin Keatts is in his second season at the helm of the NC State program. He guided the Wolfpack to a record of 21-12 and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament last season.

SERIES HISTORY
Syracuse leads the all-time series with NC State, 7-4. Last season, the Wolfpack defeated the Orange, 74-70 in the Carrier Dome. Markell Johnson hit a 3-pointer to give NC State a 73-70 lead with 35 seconds to go. After a pair of missed free throws by the 'Cuse, the Wolfpack converted 1-of-2 from the line to hold on for the win.

UP NEXT
The Orange have a week off before returning home to face two top 20 teams – #16/20 Louisville on Feb. 20 and #2/2 Duke on Feb. 23.
