4 Event Wins Highlight Regular Season Finale

Four event wins headlined the Syracuse track and field teams final tune-up before the ACC Championships.
Two women's wins - Eunice Boateng (7.64) won the 60-meter dash, while Aviana Goode won the high jump, clearing 1.71 meters - and a pair of men's victories - Joey Eovaldi (4:24.09) won the mile for the men and Richard Floyd (7.99) took home the win in the 60-meter hurdles – concluded the regular season at the Mark Deneault Invitational at Cornell.
Behind Eovaldi, John Flannery finished fourth in a time of 4:25.65, with Robert Roosa (4:30.24) and Keith McAteer (4:31.01) placing sixth and eighth, respectively.
The 60-meter hurdles was also full of Orange at the top, as Floyd edged out his teammate for the win. Andrew Aguilera (8.22 seconds), placed second, with Chevis Armstead in fifth (8.49).
Chris Tucker was runner-up in the 60-meter dash, finishing in 6.98 seconds. Chuka Soronnadi (7.10 seconds) finished third. Tucker posted a time of 6.92 seconds in the prelims for a new career best in the process.
Kelsey Potts took third in the mile (5:17.30), while Ryley Higgins (5:17.48) finished in fifth. Elizabeth Cultra (5:31.54/9th) and Keiana Mitchel (5:39.58/15th) also competed.
Emma Wilson crossed the line in third in the 3000-meter run. She finished in a time of 10:12.77. Teammate Eva Scott (10:41.53) was right behind in sixth.
Kira Wimbert (2:21.50) finished 10th in the 800, followed by Aviana Goode (2:32.19), in what was a big step up from her usual distances. For the men, Jake Proctor placed 11th in 2:09.25.
In the men's 400, Kwaku Agyemang and Jalen Racine took fifth and sixth, respectively with marks of 53.21 and 53.24 seconds.
In seldomly run events, Marina McManus (44.86), placed 11th in the 300-meter dash, followed by Hannah Loder (46.23), who took 16th. Lily Worden (1:25.44) went on to finish seventh in the 500. Meanwhile, Cameron Bailey finished fourth in the men's 500 with a mark of 1:14.63.
Thomas Struzzieri placed fifth in the 5k, finishing in 16:26.48.
Next, 'Cuse will head to Blacksburg, Virginia for the ACC Championships, which will begin on Thursday.
