SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse enters the toughest part of its schedule as four of its next six opponents are ranked in the top 20, including three that are in the top 10. First up for the Orange is No. 18/22 Louisville on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse looks to bounce back after a 73-58 setback on the road to NC State last Wednesday. In the loss, senior Frank Howard tied his career high with five 3-pointers on his way to a season-high 21 points. Sophomore Marek Dolezaj also equaled his season-high in points with 10 and grabbed five rebounds.

The Orange moved to 17-8 overall and 8-4 in ACC play. Syracuse is currently tied for fifth place in the ACC standings, which is right behind Wednesday's opponent, Louisville.

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
No. 18/22 Louisville was able to hold on and beat Clemson 56-55 in its last game, improving its record to 18-8, including 9-4 in the ACC. The win against the Tigers broke a two-game losing streak for the Cardinals.

Jordan Nwora leads the Cardinals in points (17.5 ppg.) and rebounds (7.7 rpg.). Nwora is fifth in the ACC in scoring. Dwayne Sutton and Christ Cunningham also average double figures with 10.9 and 10.5 points per game, respectively.

Chris Mack is in his first year at the helm of the Louisville program. He previously coached at Xavier and guided the Musketeers to the NCAA Tournament in eight of the last nine seasons, including the last five years.

SERIES HISTORY
Louisville leads the all-time series against Syracuse, 18-9, but Syracuse was able to defeat the Cardinals in their last meeting. The Orange traveled to Louisville last season and won, 78-73. Junior Tyus Battle scored 25 points and senior Frank Howard was not far behind with 22 points of his own. Sophomore Oshae Brissett had an impressive night as well, scoring 16 points while grabbing eight rebounds.

The Orange host College GameDay and No.1 Duke on Saturday, Feb. 23. The game is sold out and will set a new record for the largest on-campus crowd for a college basketball game. Tip off in the Dome is 6 p.m.
