SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 32-ranked Syracuse women's tennis team faces Atlantic Coast Conference opponent and No. 15-ranked Wake Forest Sunday, March 17. First serve between the Orange and the Deacons is set for 10 a.m. in Winston-Salem, N.C.

WHAT'S NEW WITH THE ORANGE
Syracuse picked up a 6-1 home victory over Virginia Tech Friday. The Orange have won six of their last seven matches.

The Orange checked in at No. 32 in the latest Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll, which was released Tuesday, March 12. Senior Gabriela Knutson and junior Miranda Ramirez, Syracuse's top doubles duo, are ranked No. 70 in the country, holding an 10-3 overall record together this season.

In singles, meanwhile, Knutson is No. 42, while Ramirez is No. 77.

SCOUTING THE DEACONS
Wake Forest most recently lost 7-0 to No. 3 Duke. It was the Deacons' first loss in ACC play.

Emma Davis is the No. 40-ranked singles player in the country. She is 11-2 at the No. 1 position this spring.

Davis and Chandler Carter make up the No. 45-ranked doubles duo in the country. They are 9-4 this season, playing all their matches out of the No. 1 position.

WHAT LIES AHEAD
Syracuse is home for its next five duals. The homestand begins Friday, March 29, when the Orange host Florida State at 11 a.m. inside Drumlins.
