Men's Rowing Ranked No. 10 in US Rowing Preseason Poll

Syracuse, N.Y. –Syracuse's men's rowing team checked in at No. 10 in the IRA/USRowing Heavyweight Men's Varsity Eight Preseason Poll. The Orange begin their spring season this weekend against Wisconsin on April 6 in Chicago, Illinois.
Yale earned the No. 1 spot in this week's poll, receiving 11 first-place votes. Washington checked in at No. 2 with one first place vote, while Harvard ranked at No. 3. Brown and University of California Berkeley round out the top-5 ranking tied for fourth.
Cuse's upcoming opponent, Wisconsin, sits right behind the Orange at No. 11.
Syracuse placed eighth overall at the IRA Championships last spring earning its seventh top-10 finish during head coach Dave Reischman's tenure. The Orange had all three varsity eight boats in the top-10 at IRAs, a goal they set earlier in the season.
