Men’s Rowing Moves up in Coaches Poll

Syracuse, N.Y. – The Syracuse University men's rowing team moved up one spot this week to No. 9 in the latest IRA/US Rowing Coaches Poll.
The Orange are coming off a weekend sweep of eleventh-ranked Wisconsin in Chicago, Ill., to begin their 2019 spring season. The varsity eight dominated the Badgers winning by nearly ten seconds making a statement after losing last year's head-to-head match up. Wisconsin moved down to No. 14 in this week's poll.
Next up for Syracuse is a trip to Annapolis, Md., to race for The Goes Trophy against the 15th-ranked Navy and No. 11 Cornell on April 20.
