
Orange Move Up to No. 3 in Region, Varsity Eight Ranked No. 2

Syracuse, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's rowing team moved up to No. 3 in the NCAA's latest regional rankings. Syracuse, who previously was fourth behind Texas, Virginia and Duke, jumped the Blue Devils while the varsity eight remained No. 2 behind Texas.
The Orange appear in the top-six of the regional rankings in also the 2V8+ (fifth) and A4 (sixth).
'Cuse moved up to No. 18 in the USRowing/CRCA Poll this week, improving two spots from last week's poll.
The Orange have another week to prepare for the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship slated for May 17-18 at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.
