SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Orange head coach Dino Babers concluded his fourth fall camp as Syracuse's sideline leader Thursday with a two-hour workout on the Schwartzwalder and Katz Practice Fields. The session capped a stretch of 19 preseason practices, including two scrimmages, that began Aug. 2.Â
On Friday, the team held a "mock game" at the Dome where the Orange rehearsed specific elements and logistics of game day. They also posed for the 2019 team picture.
Earlier in the day, Babers and approximately 40 members of the team attended the "Our City, Our County, Our House" celebration on the steps of City Hall in downtown Syracuse. Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh and Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon, along with several more elected leaders, saluted the Orange to help kick off the 2019 season.
