SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse is back at the SU Soccer Stadium for two straight matches, starting Friday, Sept. 27 against Pittsburgh. Start time is set for 7 p.m. Admission and parking are free of charge.

The game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra, but fans can only watch the stream if their cable provider carries the ACC Network. Fans unsure if their provider carries ACCN are strongly encouraged to visit GetACCN.com. Live updates will also be available on Twitter (@CuseMSoc).

The first 300 fans who enter the SU Soccer Stadium will receive a voucher for free popcorn. In addition, Syracuse koozies will be given out while supplies last.

ORANGE UPDATE
Syracuse (3-2-3, 0-1-1) is coming off a 1-0 victory at Colgate on Tuesday. The win was the Orange's first on the road in 2019.

Senior Massimo Ferrin scored in the second minute of play for the only goal the 'Cuse would need. Goalkeeper Christian Miesch made three saves to record his second shutout of the season. The win against the Raiders was the 500th all-time victory in program history.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Pittsburgh enters Friday's game on a two-game winning streak. One of those wins was a 2-0 victory at Boston College for its first conference win of the year. Overall, the Panthers are 3-3-1, 1-1 in league play.

Edward Kizza leads the Pittsburgh offense with four goals for eight points. Sito Sena and Veljko Petkovic have two goals and two assists each. The Panthers have used three goalkeepers this season. Combined, the trio has a 1.22 goals-against average and a .710 save percentage.

Syracuse and Pittsburgh have met on the pitch 22 times. Each team has posted nine wins in the series, while four matches have ended in a draw. The squads last played in 2017 in Pittsburgh. The Panthers took the lead in the 31st minute and then added to their advantage in the 80th minute. The Orange cut the deficit in half on Johannes Pieles' goal in the 88th minute, but could not score the equalizer in a 2-1 loss.
