
Orange Welcome Yellow Jackets to the Dome Thursday

Syracuse (8-7, 2-2 ACC) returns home to the Carrier Dome on Thursday night to take on Georgia Tech (13-3, 4-1 ACC) at 7:30 p.m. on ACCNX. Syracuse alumnae Beth Mowins G'90 and Isis Young '18, G'19 will be on the call as part of a female-forward production.

The production will feature a broadcast team of Syracuse University women graduates and the control room for the game broadcast and pregame and halftime shows will have women in every lead position. The pregame show is set to begin at 7:10 p.m.

It is Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Night and six lucky season ticket holders will win a prize pack during the game. There will be big-item giveaways throughout the game for fans in attendance.

The Orange are 2-1 in their last three games and are on a three-game home win streak. Kiara Lewis leads the team with 17.6 points per game while Emily Engstler averages a double double with 10.9 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. 'Cuse looks to move above .500 in ACC play on Thursday night after a 77-62 loss at Miami last Sunday.

Georgia Tech is coming off back-to-back wins over No. 11 Florida State and Clemson in ACC action. The Yellow Jackets are receiving votes in both the AP and WBCA Coaches Top-25 Polls this week and are led by a trio of players scoring in double figures. Francesca Pan paces the team with 13.3 points per game while Jasmine Carson and Lorela Cubaj ad 11.9 and 10.5 points per game each.

Syracuse leads the all-time series 5-2 and is 4-0 in the Carrier Dome against the Yellow Jackets. This is the first meeting between Quentin Hillsman and first-year head coach Nell Fortner.
