15 Nationally Televised Games Highlight #23 Syracuse’s Schedule
11/24/2020 12:32:00 PM | Women's Basketball
FULL SCHEDULE
Greensboro, N.C. – All 22 Syracuse women's basketball games will be televised this season with 15 of the No. 23 Orange's games on national television. Syracuse begins the season on the road at Stony Brook on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. The game will air on ESPN+, a subscription-based platform owned by ESPN.
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the composite schedule and television designations on Tuesday morning and Syracuse will be featured on the league's ACC Network eight, potentially nine, times during the regular season. Twelve of the 15 nationally televised games will be available through the ESPN family of networks and ACCN, while the other three will be carried by Regional Sports Networks (YES Network locally).
Syracuse will have its second ESPN Big Monday game in program history on Feb. 1 when the Orange travel to Louisville to face the Cardinals for a game that many have already circled on their calendars. The Cardinals were picked to finish at the top of the ACC standings in both the ACC Coaches and Blue Ribbon Panel Preseason Polls, while the Orange are expected to finish third. Syracuse and Louisville split the regular season meetings last year with the Orange losing by four on the road in late December and avenging the loss on Feb. 9 with a 59-51 win over the Cardinals. The victory was head coach Quentin Hillsman's 300th at Syracuse and the first top-5 win in Carrier Dome history.
Along with television selections tip-off times were also announced. Syracuse will play the majority of its mid-week games at 6 or 8 p.m. while weekend games are at 2 p.m., excluding the trio of RSN games that are scheduled for noon.
