
NFL Combine Starts Today

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Four former Syracuse football standouts will be in Indianapolis this week for the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine. Defensive ends Kendall Coleman and Alton Robinson, wide receiver Trishton Jackson and punter Sterling Hofrichter will be at Lucas Oil Stadium representing the Orange among this year's more than 300 Combine participants.
Orientation and interviews for Jackson and the other wide receivers in attendance are today with on-field testing scheduled for Thursday. Hofrichter's first day is tomorrow, while Coleman and Robinson start on Tuesday. The full schedule for the quartet is as follows:

WRÂ Trishton Jackson
Jackson elected to forgo his senior season and enter the 2020 NFL Draft. An All-ACC Second Team selection, Jackson led the Orange with 66 receptions for 1,023 yards with 11 touchdowns in 2019. He ranked fifth in the ACC in both yards per catch (15.5) and receiving yards per game (85.3). Jackson is the only Syracuse junior to ever record a 1,000-yard receiving season. Including his time at Michigan State, Jackson made 86 receptions for 1,282 yards and 13 touchdowns in his collegiate career.
PÂ Sterling Hofrichter
Hofrichter received All-America honors from seven different selectors in 2019 and was one of the three finalists for the Ray Guy Award as the nation's top punter. He ranked third in the FBS in net average (43.03) and led the ACC in touchback percentage (2.9). The only two-time All-ACC First Team selection in team history, Hofrichter closed his career as Syracuse's all-time leader in punting yardage (11,651).

DL Kendall Coleman
A two-time All-ECACÂ honoree, Coleman was a four-year starter for the Orange. In 44 career games (43 starts), he logged 137 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks. Coleman led all Syracuse down linemen with 48 tackles as a senior to earn the program's Bill Horr Award as team MVP.

DL Alton Robinson
Robinson earned All-ACC honors in two of his three seasons at Syracuse. He finished his career seventh in school history with 19.5 sacks and tied for ninth with 32.5 tackles for loss. Robinson carded 115 tackles in 36 career games (34 starts), including 46 stops in 2019. At last month's Senior Bowl, Robinson competed against some of this year's top draft prospects and recorded two sacks.
